Topic:
Ensuring community resilience through resilient water and sanitation services is a key priority for all countries – especially those that experience both insufficient access to water and sanitation and have high
exposure to climate risks. Recognizing the draft COP27 cover decision calling transformational approaches to enhancing adaptive capacity, strengthening resilience and reducing vulnerability to climate change.
During this event our priority actions is improve Capacity Building aligned with the SDG6, and give voice for Women for a better and inclusive future worldwide through our Engineering and Scientific societies,
including men and women’s participation in ICTs for Capacity Building in SDG6.
The fundamental contribution of women to the fight against climate change and demonstrates the
relevance of integrating gender equality in all climate policies. These solutions play a significant role
in ensuring the climate resilience of communities and territories while also showing the way to a fair
and inclusive implementation of the Paris Agreement and keeping to the collective 1.5°C warming
limit above pre-industrial levels.

Women and men, engineers, and scientists, together lead capacity building. Innovation, strategic planning,
cooperation are key success factors for enhancing SDG6 an ambitious climate action plan

Round Table

The fundamental contribution of women and men in SDG6 to the fight against climate change and demonstrates
the relevance of Capacity Building Program integrating gender equality in all climate policies.
What Does Your Participation Involve?
Be in thematic discussion on accelerating capacity building program for managers and local lectures for change
the Water sector

Agenda

The duration of this side event is 75 minutes.
The format is an interactive panel discussion between State representatives.

The event is expected to generate key recommendations for relevant implementation Post Forum

Activity

•  A committee will be suggested to study the outcomes and recommendations with a view to
  proposing an implementation actions and strategy
•  Sharing with relevant organizations the outcomes of the event Collaborative Papers are encouraged
  to be written from the discussion

As key outcomes, the event will enable:

• A dialogue between NGO, Academia, Public and Private Sector, representatives from different
  regions on the linkages between water, agriculture, education, energy and climate change.
• Identify concrete action – including capacity building to water resources management at high level
  impact
• Share the progress on averting, minimizing, and addressing Loss and Damage in the context of water
  extremes, responding to the specific problems of major urban water and sanitation services,
  particularly in the situation of emerging and developing countries.
• Informing the audience of current programs of knowledge, different experiences and responses in
  different regions related to water management and Human Capital
• Promoting an increased attention for Funds linked to Leadership capacity building program, including
  strategies of new cities, to respond to the specific problems of major urban water and sanitation
  services, particularly in the situation of emerging and developing countries
• A commitment with concrete good practices identified – including linked to water resources
  management to avert, improve and address funds and training courses to train professionals, leaders
  and decision-makers of urban services in rapidly growing environments
• The commitment would support the acceleration of SDG6 in regard to inclusion, innovation and
  governance. Building sustainable and cooperative water resources management resilient to disasters
  in perspective with human mobility.

Topic:

During this event our priority actions is improve Capacity Building aligned with the SDG6.
We will submit a commitment during the Conference for a better future worldwide through our Engineering and Scientific societies, including men and women’s participation in ICTs for Capacity Building in SDG6.

Participants and panelists will be drawn from international development organizations, academia, utility
practitioners, professional bodies, experts, NGOs, CSOs and a host of other stakeholders to look at the
issues through panel discussion, case talk, and round table discussion.

Key institutions and experts will be encouraged to give a 2/ 4 mins talk on how their projects or
programmes emerge and are implemented, with why they are implemented or follow the delivery path.
These solutions play a significant role in ensuring the climate resilience of communities and territories
while also showing the way to a fair and inclusive implementation of the Paris Agreement and keeping
to the collective 1.5°C warming limit above pre-industrial levels.
With our international partners, we will develop questions of biodiversity, industry, energy, nonhuman
